MEGHAN PATRICK RELEASES OFFICIAL LYRIC VIDEO FOR “MY FIRST CAR”
September 17, 2020 – Warner Music Canada / Riser House recording artist Meghan Patrick is sharing the official lyric video for “My First Car.” The new track, released last Friday, is the first new music from the two time CCMA Female Artist of the Year since her Juno Award winning EP Wild As Me. Of the new song, Meghan says, “The day I wrote ‘My First Car’ with my friends Joey Hyde and Adam Craig was one of those “silver lining” moments in quarantine. When Adam brought in the lyric ‘My first car was a pickup truck’, I immediately loved the idea. Not only because it was true, but because I thought about how many great memories are tied to my first car, my first taste of freedom, and the first thing I could really call my own. I’m so proud of this song, and I hope it brings some nostalgic feel-good energy to my fans!”
Meghan Patrick will appear as a performer on the broadcast for the 2020 CCMA Awards, where she has received two nominations; one for Female Artist of the Year and the second for Album of the Year for Wild as Me.
