Hunter Brothers Follow #1 Hit with New Single, “Northern Lights”
May 6, 2019 – Award-winning group, Hunter Brothers continue their breakout streak with the release of their latest single, “Northern Lights” set for release to radio May 10, following their first #1 smash hit, “Lost”.
Released simultaneously, the touching new video for “Northern Lights” was shot by the renowned Edde Brothers, who have become known for their work with country music’s elite, shooting videos for artists like Jon Pardi, Brett Eldridge and Hunter Hayes. The video for this country love song is a touching tribute to the band’s wives and children.

According to the group of brothers, who wrote the song with Brennin Hunt, “The song is really about finding beauty in everything. Naturally, one thing we all agree to be universally beautiful to us is the relationships we share with our wives, and the growth of our families,” said J.J. Hunter.
For four consecutive weeks, STATE OF MIND remained the Top Canadian Country album. The album has accumulated more than 5 million global streams to date, and more overall the group has more than 17 million streams worldwide.
Hunter Brothers are gearing up for a busy festival season, which will involve several US tour dates in addition to Canadian dates, including; CMA Fest in Nashville in June, Country Thunder in Wisconsin, as well as Blue Jay’s Country Day, Toronto’s Festival of Beer, Country Thunder Alberta, and many more.
STATE OF MIND comes on the heels of their debut album, Getaway, which featured several successful country radio singles, including two that went Top 10, “Born and Raised” and “Those Were The Nights”. “Born and Raised” was selected as Team Canada’s World Junior’s Anthem, an honour that hits close to home, considering two of the brothers played in the Western Hockey League as well as professionally, for the Edmonton Oilers.
