Features Guest Appearance By Chad Kroeger Of Nickelback

Today, Vancouver-based Country Artist Kadooh, released the music video for his new single Rattlesnake Bite via 604 Records, capturing the essence of the rocking country tune, in a fun and lighthearted way that makes you want to get up and dance the night away.

The music video, filmed in Abbotsford, BC, was brought to life by Director Stephano Barberis (Jojo Mason, Dallas Smith, Jess Moskaluke) and produced by Greendale Productions. Kadooh’s close friend, and award-winning musician and songwriter Chad Kroeger of Nickelback not only makes a special guest appearance in the video, but also co-produced the new single

“As the song was finishing up, the idea for the video developed. We envisioned a choreographed dance that people could follow along with. What better way than having dancers on large light boxes…with the band performing with them! Then Chad had the idea of us on tricycles and what’s cooler than 5 grown men on tricycles!?!? Especially walking off a private jet!! Thennnn we had the thought of buzzing the band with the jet…super Top Gun action! It’s hard to keep a straight face and pretend to be cool with a jet ripping overhead!! We had a blast shooting and as Chad added I think that shows from the video,” said Kadooh.

“It’s far more fun to be on the other side of the camera and be able to help a friend than be in the hot seat. There was a ton of laughs on set for the two day shoot and I think it comes across in the performance,” said Chad Kroeger.

After spending over a decade as the guitarist and backing vocalist of the rock band State of Shock, Kadooh made the decision to cross over to country, a genre he’s grown to love, and step into the spotlight for the first time as a solo artist. In 2018, he won his very first country music award, earning the Ray McAuley Horizon Award at the BC Country Music Association Awards (BCCMA). In 2019, he released his debut self-titled EP and 3 singles, and the winning streak continued leading to nominations for BCCMA Male Artist of the Year, SOCAN Songwriter of the Year, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year, and ultimately taking home the BCCMA award for Video of the Year for “Somethin’ to Roll on”.

Kadooh is gearing up to release his debut EP later this year. Brought together with the help of producer Jeff Johnson, the EP will continue to reflect Kadooh’s new sound — one that has found influence in not only his everyday life, but an engrained love of music as a whole.
