“Concert & Review By Tammy Ann Chapman”

Country Superstar Randy Houser rocked the house at Casino Rama Entertainment Centre Saturday, February 22, 2020. Randy’s been touring primarily in the US to promote his newest album Magnolia but found his way to Orillia, Ontario to show us “How Country Feels”.

As Randy and his band took to the stage the fans wasted no time getting on their feet. Randy’s powerhouse vocals blew the roof off the Entertainment Centre with the synergy of his Rock and Country vibe.

Randy’s mix of slow heartfelt tracks and chart-topping hits had his fans singing along to every lyric. When he took a moment to get personal with the audience sharing some of the darker times of his life which inspired his earlier tracks his fans could relate. He offered words of encouragement that you can get through anything and reminded them that if they fall they can “get back up again” which segwayed into his track “Like A Cowboy”.

He brought us back to his childhood with “Evangeline” and he paid tribute to the military families resonating with how heartbreaking it can be being away from the ones you love.

Randy introduced his band and thanked them many times and sent his love to his fans who chose to come out and spend their Saturday night with him.

Some of Randy’s memorable songs included; No Stone Unturned, Whistlin Dixie, What Whiskey Does, Like A Cowboy and of course How Country Feels. Randy closed the show with his hit song “Runnin’ Outta Moonlight” and took time after the show to shake hands and sign autographs for his fans.

Overall the concert was high energy, non-stop, boot-stomping fun. Randy was unwavered as he mastered one guitar after another on stage, hit the top of his vocal range sending the crowd screaming for more and tipped his hat to the fans who have been with him from the start. Randy Houser achieved what he wanted, he showed Ontario “My Kinda Country” and it was a night we won’t soon forget!
